tracetronic develops software to automate embedded software testing across various tools and stages of development.
Our customers include automotive OEMs, Suppliers, EV/AV-Startups, as well as Agricultural and Construction Machinery manufacturers. Our test and validation engineers assist our customer’s project teams on-site and remotely. You will work regularly with colleagues from our German-based engineering and software development departments. Ensure the needs of our customers are known, addressed, and implemented in our next development sprints.
- Support TT’s mission to eliminate repeatable tasks through automation, independent of the environments and tools
- Develop and implement test cases and reporting for embedded software tests with our automation tool, ecu.test, for HiL test benches and MiL/SiL environments
- Use scripting to solve real-world problems
- Help customers use our tools to their fullest potential
- Work closely with software developers in Dresden, Germany to build extensions and tool adapters
- Develop trace analyses for automatic evaluation of signal recording files and image and video processing
- Create custom solutions

Who are we looking for?
- Engineering degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., EE, ME, CS) or comparable
- Experience in the automotive industry or heavy duty vehicle sector
- Scripting languages (Python, PHP, Perl, etc.) or C, C++
- Familiarity with automotive bus systems and diagnostics (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, UDS, DoIP, J1939 etc.) is a plus
- Experience with dSPACE ControlDesk, NI VeriStand, Jama, ATI VISION
- Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, and comfortable with a hands-on role
- Results-driven approach to problem solving
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
